If you remember a while back, I got my first cuts as a songwriter on a project called “Ashes To Fire” with Lillenas Music Publishing and Maranatha.  My tracks were “Dry Bones” and “Love’s Already Won”.  It was such an exciting time for me…a dream come true.

Many of you have heard me sing these songs and even bought the record.  It accompanies a study intended for reading through the Lenten Season. (Ash Wednesday-Pentecost)  It’s a beautiful collection of songs and I’m truly honored to be a part of it.

I recently got word from The Gospel Music Association that this record is nominated for a Dove Award in the category of Special Events Record of the year!!  And since I was also the artist on these tracks, I am individually nominated for my contribution!!!!!

I am beyond excited and grateful for this unexpected news.  My travel plans are made.  My girlfriends and I have booked our room. I have a shimmery gold dress. Yes, I am going to the Doves!! My folks are even driving down for the show!

Thanks to all of you who have supported me this far! I’ll document the whole trip!!
